Oplev en iscenesat reading af et stykke ny kinesisk dramatik, “Tagterassen”, skrevet af den unge kvindelige dramatiker Xiao Jing(CHN).

Den finder sted:
Lørdag den 6. juni 2020, 13:00 og kl. 15:00 i Det Kinesiske Lysthus i Frederiksberg Have, Frederiksberg Runddel 3 E, Frederiksberg.

Stykket “Tagterassen” udspiller sig i Beijing, Kina i år 2007. To unge kvinder er klatret op på taget af et sportsstadion, der, i fm. forberedelserne til OL i Beijing i 2008, er under ombygning. De to unge kvinder taler om deres egen og Kinas fremtid forud for OL.

Medvirkende er skuespillerne Hanin Georgis og Karla Rosendahl Rasmussen. Xiao Jing(CHN) står selv for iscenesættelsen af readingen.

Den iscenesatte læsning er arrangeret/produceret af Nydanskeren Jimbuts Kulturforening.

Den er støttet af Statens Kunstfond og Frederiksberg Kommune. Den indgår i programmet for CPHStage-festival ´20.

Om dramatikeren:
Dramatiker Xiao Jing er født i 1990 i Beijing, Kina, og er bosiddende i Beijing. Hun er uddannet fra Beijing Normal University i kinesisk litteratur og har haft flere stykker opført på Beijing Fringe festival, Wuzhen-festival, Nanluoguxiang Performing Arts Festival i Beijing, og har også turneret uden for Kina på festivaler i Bologna, Italien og i Ruhr i Tyskland.

 

Short summary in english:
“The Rooftop Terrace” is a new Chinese play written for the stage by the young female playwright Xiao Jing (CHN). The story takes place in Beijing, China in the year of 2007. Two young women have climbed up the roof of a sports stadium which is under construction due to the preparation of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The two young women talk about their future dreams for themselves as well as for China ahead of the Olympics. They first come down from the roof as the sun goes up.

About the Playwright:
Playwright Xiao Jing is born in 1990 in Beijing, China and is based in Beijing. She has studied Chinese Literature at Beijing Normal University. She has had several of her plays produced at Beijing Fringe festival, Wuzhen-festival, Nanluoguxiang Performing Arts Festival in Beijing as well as she has been presented outside of China at festivals in Bologna, Italien and in Ruhr in Germany.
